Tuesday 20^th December 2011. Our last day, our last but one morning in HCMC. We craved for some new food and we found it in a bakery in the backpacker’s area. Purple and green cakes made of…. guess what…. rice! Surprise!

2011. december 20, kedd. Az utolsó napunk, az utolsó előtti reggelünk HCMC-ben. Valami új, valami frissítő élmény kellett reggelre, így jutottunk el egy pékséghez a turista negyedben. Lila és zöld sütemények, és vajon miből készültek? Rizsből! Micsoda meglepetés!

Day 20: Oasis and desert

This was the fourth time I got up very early to see the sunrise at the sea. Conrad also gathered himself, thus at 5.50 in the morning we were on the way to the beach (other side of the road), and we were hoping that it won’t be cloudy again.

Ez már a negyedik alkalom volt, hogy elég korán keltem azért, hogy láthassam a napfelkeltét a tengernél. Conrad is összeszedte magát, így hajnali 5.50-kor már úton voltunk a partra (tehát az út másik felére), és reméltük, hogy nem lesz az ég megint felhős.

Day 8: Not on the map

This day we did sightseeing south from the city. We tried to follow the map in the small streets, but didn’t find the way. Then we used Conrad’s GPS, which was a good friend of us on the travel. But even when it showed, that we are in the good location, we weren’t. There were no signs on the road and the locals couldn’t show us the way.

Ezen a napon a várostól délre próbáltunk szerencsét. A térképünket követtük, de nem vezetett sehová. Aztán az utazás során jó barátunkká vált eszközt, Conrad GPS-ét vettük használatba. Amikor pedig a GPS mondta, hogy jó helyen vagyunk, akkor sem voltunk sehol. Nem volt semmilyen jel az úton, de még a helyiek sem értették, hogy mit keresünk ott.
